Jan's Story

"At age ten my grandmother presented me with the ukelele my grandfather gave her when she was 16.  I learned to play it from tablature books."  Jan McClellan then graduated to her grandfather's guitar - a 1910 Gibson that as a boy he played in the Blind Pigs in Detroit during the Prohibition era.  Jan learned to play it using tablature books.  Jan and Brother Bryce took piano lessons and guitar lessons together.  Broth Craig started drum lessons on a very basic set their grandfather brought back from the legendary music store "Manny's" in New York City.
